Slake Brewing

Built into the side of a hill near Picton, the Slake Brewery takes advantage of the need for naturally-conditioned cellaring to create a unique panoramic tap-room experience. Conceived of as a “machine for brewing in,” this building combines volumes into a simple modernist form, allowing glimpses of the inner workings on approach while prioritizing a gradual unfolding of views into the stunning landscape.
